A graduate of Dunedin School of Art, Nic Tucker has won numerous awards in painting, 3D work, photography and drawing. She has community commendations in art, has taught art at a secondary school level for 22 years, and has facilitated tertiary courses in art.  

A descendant of Ngai Tahu and Ngati Kahungunu descent, Tucker was born in Invercargill and has lived all around New Zealand. A strong connection to the land resonates through her bold Japanese Woodcut style works.

The style of woodblock print means that the texture and colour can vary slightly from print to print.
