Art Map | Wānaka 52 x 42

For this larger size Wānaka piece, Matai Gallery decided to focus on the stunning landscape around Lake Wānaka, rather than the lake depths. Roys Peak dominates the skyline of Wānaka, and this outstanding mountain has the same effect in this map. All the major walking tracks of the area are marked, as well as full street detail of Wānaka town. The lake contours are engraved to give a hint of the depths so close to the town.

All of Matai Gallery's artworks are handcrafted and finished to the highest standard. Each layer is sanded, hand painted, assembled, and framed by Matai Gallery in their Wairarapa workshop - right down to the tiny little details that they use a pair of tweezers to stick on!
