Brought up by an artistic father Kathryn was encouraged to explore her natural creative abilities. As a self-taught artist, she draws her inspiration from the Pacific landscape, objects and native birds, working in acrylics with layers of colour and texture to give the viewer a feeling of depth.

Kathryn resides in Nelson with her husband where they raised their two sons and for the past thirteen years has had numerous successful exhibitions throughout New Zealand and internationally.
