A few years ago Lester Hall spontaneously started signing himself off with “Happy Trails”… As a lad the term “called” as he imagined long weeks riding through big country under big skies. Lester rode horses often and loved the hills out of town and herding the wild cattle there. He has always loved the old cowboy comic artworks and created this Sunset Cowgirl to celebrate moving into a new day and wishing everyone good things on their journeys. The sun and the moon, big hats, shawls, cross stitches, campfires, and a tattoo remembering those great country tunes like that played every week on The Sunday Program when Lester was a kid. Maybe it’s a Boomer thing but happy trails to you all.
