Cup | So This Is Love

‘So This Is Love’ features a male and female miromiro pair, lovingly glancing at one another as they perch themselves amongst some flowering native puawānanga paniculata. They are also joined by a friendly pīrorohu/bumblebee.

Artwork by Northland-based artist, Katy Hayward. This drawing was inspired by her aroha/love for going on beautiful bush walks with her little family, and the joy of being followed by these friendly little birds who dart and chase her daughter around.
