The Cardrona Hotel is New Zealand's most famous historic hotel from the gold rush era. Established in 1863, it is located in the Cardrona Valley between Queenstown and Wānaka, and is a beautiful building full of history and charm, nestled in the golden hues of the arid Central Otago landscape.
